I read this post on Substack yesterday:
"If you struggle to come up with an idea, it's because you don't read enough"
Agreed.
My most valuable, unique, and sometimes downright subversive ideas come from simply reading a book…
Or an article on the internet.
After all…
It’s how I got the idea to write this letter, too.
Anyway, the big problem most folks face today is they consume too much silly slop.
(I doubt watching YouTube videos titled, "Bully Tries To Shame Shy Boy In Class, Not Knowing His Father Is The World's Greatest Assassin!" is gonna give you ideas to write your next million-dollar campaign)
Plus...
I wouldn't recommend using soyGPT for idea creation either.
Because it turns you into a brain-dead, NPC, Reddit basement dweller who can't think his way out of the toilet.
What do I think are the best reading sources?
Books (Bible, biz books, and self-help books)...
News articles about politics and finance...
Content from entrepreneurs outside your niche.
These are, believe it or not, my top three sources where I get my best ideas from.
Because the more ideas you have…
The more likely you're to find a winner that's gonna fatten your wallet in ways the blue-haired goblin socialists don't wanna know about.
Also...
When it comes to crafting killer sales pitches and marketing campaigns...
The “idea” behind it… can be the difference… between having a winner… or...
Why?
I can't go in depth here.
But I did create a quick document you can devour.
In this document, I explain the concept called "The Central Premise".
Which is the idea, the angle, the focus point behind every million-dollar campaign.
You can see how it works by clicking right here.
Enjoy.
